Privacy policy

The short version: we keep the numbers you give us so the calculator works, we do not sell or share your information, and you can delete all of it yourself at any time.

Who we are

Sachavo Holdings LLC runs RentPerSecond. Questions about this policy or your data: the contact address.

What we keep, and why

• Account. Your email address, a display name if you give one, and your password. The password is stored only as a one-way scramble (a hash). We cannot read it. This lets you sign in, save your numbers, and get account emails.
• Your calculator numbers. Country, parcels, badges, boost hours and goals, saved when you press Save. This is so they are there next time and on your other devices.
• My stats. Anything you choose to add there: rent history, Atlas Bucks entries, money in and out, purchases and season points. Only you can see it.
• Game username (optional). Only if you enter it. It is linked to your account, and only one account can use a given name. Other signed-in players see it next to your stats on the Compare page. If you leave it blank you appear as “Anonymous”.
• Comparison numbers. When you save your profile, we keep your country, parcel and badge counts, an estimated monthly rent and a luck score, so you can be compared with other players. These are self-reported and are shown without your name unless you linked a username.
• Emails. Confirmation and password-reset emails. Reminder and newsletter emails only if you turn them on, and each one has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Anonymous counts. How many times each page is opened and which features get used, with no cookies, no IP addresses and no user IDs.
• Security records. Failed sign-in attempts and password-reset requests are logged with an IP address for a day or two to stop abuse. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.
• We never ask for your game password and cannot see your game account. Never type it here.
• We do not build advertising profiles. This site does not currently show ads. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Cookies and storage

One cookie keeps you signed in, and only while you are signed in. Your browser also stores your light or dark choice and your calculator numbers on your own device so they are there next visit. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who else handles data

Companies that host the site, deliver our email and speed up delivery (a content delivery network) handle data only on our behalf, to run the site.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your account, saved numbers, stats, tracking, linked username, comparison numbers and unused links straight away. Backups can hold a copy for up to 30 days, then it is gone. Security records are cleared within days. The anonymous page counts hold no personal information.

Your choices and rights

• See and download your data: Account settings, “Download my data”.
• Correct it: change it in Account settings or the calculator.
• Delete it: Account settings, “Delete my account”.
• Stop emails: turn them off in Account settings, or use the link in any email.

If you live in the EU, UK, California or another place with privacy laws, you have legal rights over your data, including access, correction, deletion, portability and objection, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us and we will help.

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and sign-in attempts are limited. No system is perfect, so please use a password you do not use anywhere else.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in users on the site.
